"Perhaps you think you've found a way to match my strengthz but remember, this world is mine!" he declared, charging toward me.

  Boom!

The ground trembled as he forcefully stomped, his foot carrying five sharp blades aimed at my body!

"Nothing new!" I said, my tone casual, as I reached down with my right hand.

The bone hand moved swiftly, catching his five sharp blades with precision, and then slammed them down toward the ground with even greater speed!

  Boom!

A heavy thud reverberated through the air as the ground yielded under his sturdy body.

Raising the bone hand once more, I repeatedly pounded the ground with dull thuds until I finally spotted specks of blood.

A smirk crept onto my face.

"See? You're bleeding now!" But when I swung the bone hand again, aiming for the ground, the two-headed freak vanished into thin air, leaving behind only the arm with those five deadly blades gripped tight in the skeletal fingers.

He'd gone and chopped off his own arm!

I stood there, completely stunned, looking around but finding no sign of him anywhere.

  "Xia Ning...!"

  "Xia Ning...!"

Just as I was zoning out, the zombie faces around me started closing in again, hollering my name as they reached out to snatch at me!

Ready to swat these annoying little pests away, a sudden wave of danger hit me like a ton of bricks. Without even thinking, I bailed backward, only to see a familiar figure dropping from above with a blade gleaming, aiming straight for the ground!

  "Later, loser!" I chuckled.

My two bone hands, sharp as a razor, jabbed at the figure from both sides with lightning speed as he crashed towards the ground!

With a clang, he managed to block one of the bone hands with the blade in his hand, then hopped up to dodge the other skeletal hand. But in doing so, he fell right into my trap, as the other two bone hands were already closing in on him! "Thud! Thud!" Two bone hands went straight into his body, no doubt about it, and then with a bang, they nailed him to the ground. He's lying there, blood dripping from his mouth, his two heads staring at me like they've seen a ghost: "How the hell is this possible?!"

"Where's she at?" I ask my tone ice cold.

"You think I'd spill? Hahaha!" He's still laughing like he's got nothing to lose.

I drop down to the ground, slowly walking up to him with a smirk. "You ain't talking, huh? Fine by me!"

With a quick move, I yank one of them bone hands out of him with a squelch, then squat down in front of him.

"Let's see how long you can tough it out," I say, shoving my hand into that wound.

The slimy feeling gets me oddly pumped.

As I hear his guts getting stirred up, a smirk sneaks onto my face. "Ah...!" he let out a miserable wail, shooting me a look filled with pure venom.

I shamelessly plunged my hands into his gut, not giving a damn, and pulled out whatever I could grab!

He shook like a leaf, his face contorted in agony as his guts spilled out next to him.

"This is my turf!!" he bellowed, making a futile attempt to stab me with his knife, but my other bone hand grabbed onto his last arm like a vise!

With a sickening squish, one of his heads was smashed to bits by my bone hand!

Out of nowhere, his other head opened wide, emitting a blinding white light!

"A freaking laser cannon?" I snorted derisively.

I yanked my hand out from the slimy mess of his insides, formed it into a fist-stained red, and jammed it right into his mouth!

His eyes bulging with fury, filled with a sense of injustice. Boom! A deafening blast and his upper body were blown to smithereens.

I narrowed my eyes and threw up my left hand to shield myself, though it didn't do much, bits of his flesh still ended up splattered on me, which was gross as hell. At that moment, a shadow shot out from the corpse, movin' so damn fast I couldn't even react in time. All I could barely see was that shadow zoomin' straight into the haunted house.

"There's still a main body?" I muttered to myself, gettin' up and headin' toward the entrance of the haunted house.

The blood rain had already stopped, leaving severed limbs and broken arms scattered all over the damn road, with shattered police cars surrounded by glass shards.

"Xia Ning...!" The zombie mugs around me closed in again.

Using a bone hand to push off, I jumped my butt to the front of a cop car. Grabbing onto the chassis, I hoisted the whole damn car up over my head like it was nothing!

Turning around, I faced the growing crowd of zombie mugs. Waiting for them to gather tighter, I gave that raised cop car a good heave-ho right at 'em!

The cop car flew like a freakin' missile, smashing into the monsters. The ones in front of me got wiped out in an instant, leaving just a bunch of scattered meaty bits.

With a loud-ass crash, that cop car slammed down, breaking the bodies of a bunch of monsters and sending 'em flying. It spun and flew off, smacking into a residential building a ways off before finally coming to a stop.

Looking around, I noticed those fearless zombie mugs had somehow stopped attacking and were just standing there.

Alright, so there I was, no more nasties around, just me and that damn skeleton door. Instead of rushing to bust it open, I decided to deal with my ripped-up jacket first. I mean, it was practically shredded by those bone hands poking through my back. So, I just ripped the rest of it off.

Grabbed a chunk of it and wrapped it around my banged-up knee, then used the rest to fashion a makeshift belt around my waist. Figured that'd have to do for bandages.

No time to waste, so I gave it a cold stare and raised my hand.

And wouldn't you know it, those bone hands behind me followed suit, like a massive pair of pliers, snatching onto that door and yanking it in. The sound of that haunted house door snapping echoed through the air!

With a loud snap, the door was yanked right off by my bare hands and tossed out! A swarm of twisted, half-dead bodies oozes outta that door, but here's the kicker—they're squirming like they're still kickin'!

One noggin's yapping away, eyes rolling like they're lost, while an arm's twitching its fingers, itching to claw its way outta the pile. Another poor soul's got its legs thrashing, and the top half's just gawking around like it can't believe the mess it's in!

They're piling up, blocking the door like it's their mission.

"I just wanted to keep it civilized!" Seeing that sight, I'm starting to regret cracking open the door to this haunted house.

With those bone hands moving behind me, I'm like a spider, crawling up onto the haunted house door, then leaping towards the three-story building like a bat outta hell!

From up high, I clock the three-story building and the tombstone party. Beyond those wire mesh walls on both sides is a maze-like courtyard!

The door on the third floor is wide open, pitch-black inside. It gives me the heebie-jeebies, but I ain't got time to dwell on it. With a few quick moves, I'm standing in front of that wooden door. I size up that wooden door, checking out its height and width. Man, there's no way I'm squeezing through there in my current state.

I sneak a peek at the bone hands on my back, and they quickly slide back into place.

With that sorted, I finally step into the third floor. As soon as I stepped inside, my eyes locked onto that iron door, all hacked up and flung wide open!

I didn't hesitate, just strolled right on in, recognizing the hallway in an instant—this was the same path I bolted down to escape that day!

Straight to the corner room I went, where the old iron bed still sat. But Wu Jing was nowhere to be found. Instead, on the far wall from the bed, there was this intricate pattern drawn in blood, centering around what looked like a blood gate!

I made my way over, feeling a mix of confusion and curiosity as I reached out to touch that bloody door!

The blood gate was nothing but a painted illusion on the wall. All I felt was the chill of the stone.

I gave it a shove with my hand, but that blood gate stayed put, not budging an inch.

Scratching my head, I wondered if I was going the wrong way. Just as I'm scratching my head, suddenly I hear these faint-ass footsteps coming from the wall!

Feels like something's about to bust outta there, so I take a few steps back, keeping my eyes peeled.

Outta the blue, the blood gate lights up like a damn Christmas tree and swings open.

I glance inside and what do I see? Yumeng, shrouded in mist, lugging her head around like it's nobody's business, jaw missing, and brandishing a cleaver as she struts out from the doorway!
