"Perhaps myths are not mere fiction, but rather a lost history."

Upon encountering an extraterrestrial being on the alien planet, Wang Yue did not share the same excitement as Zheng Ya and Su Ziqi. On the contrary, she stood alone, silently observing the alien from a distance.

She noted that the attire of this extraterrestrial resembled that of primitive African tribes on Earth, indicating that these aliens were still in a relatively undeveloped stage of civilization.

However, what puzzled her was that despite witnessing the extraordinary sight of a spaceship landing on their planet, a phenomenon far beyond their comprehension, the alien displayed no signs of panic or unease. Instead, they seemed unfazed and composed, as if such occurrences were commonplace. This greatly contradicted Wang Yue's expectations and left her perplexed.

At that moment, the linguist Su Ziqi suddenly spoke up in a language that no one else could understand. However, upon hearing it, the alien’s expression turned both surprised and delighted. His eyes were fixed intently on Su Ziqi, making her feel quite uncomfortable.

Su Ziqi hurriedly brushed her face with her hand, thinking there might be dust on it.

Everyone quickly asked Su Ziqi what was going on.

Caught off guard and interrupted from her thoughts, Su Ziqi stammered in her response, “He…he is speaking in an ancient language; some of the phonetics resemble the old Sumerian civilization language, while some sound like ancient Mayan and Egyptian.”

“The alien’s language is grammatically more similar to Sumerian and I could only roughly understand. He just introduced himself, phonetically translating, his name is Gongkong.”

Everyone had automatic translation devices implanted in their ears, tiny devices the size of soybeans.

Huamei instructed everyone to turn on these devices and wirelessly transmitted data regarding ancient human languages, stored in its system, to each individuals’ translation devices.

On an unknown planet, the fact that aliens spoke a language similar to Earth’s oldest languages left everyone astonished.

With Huamei’s assistance, everyone could roughly understand what the aliens were saying. However, the only two who could directly communicate with the alien were Su Ziqi and Huamei, both possessing the ability to quickly learn and adapt to a new language.

Su Ziqi tentatively attempted to converse with the alien in this indigenous language. Word by word, she switched between various Earthly ancient language vocabularies, closely observing the alien’s reactions while asking, “Could you please tell me where we are?”

This is the Mu Continent, and this planet is called Planet Mu," the indigenous alien responded crisply.

Everyone was taken aback upon hearing this. The legend of the Mu Continent had long existed, with claims that tens of thousands of years ago on Earth, there was a mysterious continent called the Mu Continent in the Pacific Ocean. Unexpectedly, this unknown planet’s native referred to this continent on this planet as the Mu Continent.

Suppressing her astonishment, Su Ziqi pondered that this native being had knowledge of the concept of planets. She continued in the indigenous language, "We come from a planet called Earth. Have you heard of Earth?"

“Earth? Never heard of it,” the native responded.

Seeing the confusion in everyone’s eyes, the native pointed to the sky and started explaining.

It was still daylight, so naturally, no stars could be seen. Yet, the native’s eyes were as bright as shattered diamonds, as if seeing stars and pointing for everyone else, pinpointing a spot in the sky. “Next to our Planet Mu, there are two other planets suitable for habitation. This one is called the Ice Planet. The Ice Planet is especially bright at night, its surface almost entirely covered in ice and snow, but there are some parts not covered by ice and snow where one can live.”

Pointing to another corner, the native continued, “Over there is a planet we call Mars as well. Mars is almost entirely covered by deserts, with a few oases suitable for habitation. Which planet are you from?”

What? Mars? Everyone was plunged into a logic puzzle, stirring up a heated discussion. “Could the planet we’re visiting still be in our solar system? How could there possibly be planets suitable for habitation in our solar system besides Earth?”

“It can’t be. The ‘Mars’ this native is talking about might just share the name. It can’t be the Mars in our solar system.”

“I bet this native is pulling our leg. How can he see stars in broad daylight? His words can’t be trusted.”

……

Wang Yue had a clearer mind, saying, “Everyone calm down. Zi Qi, show him our solar system’s star map.”

Su Zi Qi displayed a three-dimensional image of our solar system’s stars on her wrist screen.

The native revealed an envious look upon seeing the 3D image, looked for a moment, and then shook his head, “This isn’t our star map. There are 12 celestial bodies in our constellation.”

Everyone was surprised yet again after hearing this. First, they were astonished at the native’s abundant knowledge of astronomy, which contrasted with his primitive attire. Second, the 12 celestial bodies he mentioned coincidentally matched the number of celestial bodies in the star map on the Martian rock wall.

Suzi Qi then brought up the star map of the Martian mural for him to see. After looking at it, he said, “This is our galaxy, this one is the sun, and next to it, in order, are Mercury, Venus, Mu star, Ice Star, and Mars.”

Upon hearing this, everyone was shocked beyond belief, especially Dong Yifeng. Everything that was happening here far exceeded his comprehension, leaving him wanting to curse out loud, “What the heck is going on? Have we entered a parallel universe?”

“Guys !! How could this possibly be?” he blurted out. “In our solar system, Venus and Mars are separated only by Earth, but this native claims their solar system is also the ‘Solar System’ and that there are two planets - Planet Mu and Icestar - between Venus and Mars. Is this some kind of joke? How could this be possible? I don’t believe this nonsense at all.”

However, Zheng Ya didn’t think that the native’s words were complete gibberish, “There is an asteroid belt between Venus and Earth. Astronomers predicted quite some time ago that a planet might have have existed there.

“According to Mayan civilization, the Maya people are from ‘planet Tzolkin,’ and their Zhuoerjin calendar has 260 days in a year. Based on calculations, if planet Tzolkin really does exist, it’s positioned between Venus and Earth.”

“Profesor Ya, are you suggesting that this native’s ‘Mu Star’ is what the ancient Maya called planet Tzolkin? And his ‘Ice Star’ is our Earth?”

“Zi Qi, the planet Tzolkin theory is just myth, but one thing is certain - the planet we’ve arrived on is definitely not Earth.”

The native, not understanding their discussion, continued, “Our worshiped celestial godssprophesied the arrival of your people’s deities a long time ago. We invite you, human deities, to visit our clan’s tribe.”

“How far away is your tribe from here?” Suzi Qi asked.

“Not far. It would take a few days on foot, but we can ride camel-horses. We should definitely arrive before the sun sets today,” the native replied.

“Camel-horses?” Suzi Qi asked with confusion.

The native whistled, and a white animal that resembled, yet also distinct from, a horse came running from the forest’s edge. This creature had the head of a camel and the rest of the body resembled a horse. However, it appeared to be larger than the horses on Earth.

“So, this is a camel-horse? Why is there only one?”

“This is my mount. This morning, I was patrolling the edge of forest with my companions on camel-horses. We looked up and saw you divine beings’ vehicle - the large bird billowing smoke, and we followed it here.”

“And where are your companions?”

“They’ve gone back to our clan to report the arrival of esteemed visitors.”

“How did you know we would definitely visit your clan? Besides, there is only one camel-horse right now.”

"Our revered gods have told us that during the final era, the gods of the human race will descend from the heavens and come to our tribe to save us from the water and fire. I believe you are those gods of the human race."

Looking at the puzzled faces around him, the alien native continued, “The issue of the horses can be solved easily. The eastern checkpoint of our clan is not far from here. We can first borrow a few camel-horses from there, then proceed to the central city of our clan - The Windwood Citadel”

Looking at the sun’s position, it was not yet noon, and they still had plenty of time.

After discussing, they realized that the spaceship’s engine had not yet been repaired. But if they traveled to the alien’s tribe by Airshop , they could make a round trip in an afternoon. So they decided to pay a visit.

“There’s no need to borrow the camel-horses; we have our own transportation,” Suzi Qi said to the native.

Hua Mei returned to the Kuafu spacecraft and briefed Yang Zhiyuan and others about the situation.

Upon hearing that they had met extraterrestrials with whom they could communicate, Yang Zhiyuan and Zhou Ke became excited and jumped with joy.

Professor Bao Mingkai, who was lying in bed, was even more agitated. He hurriedly wanted to get up and join the adventure.

Hua Mei, after much persuasion, managed to hold back Professor Bao. She suggested he should rest first and recover from his injuries, promising that they would constantly relay real-time video feeds of their visit to the clan to those staying back at the spaceship.

Yang Zhiyuan reminded Hua Mei to be cautious and ensure the safety of the expedition members during their journey.

After bidding farewell to Yang Zhiyuan and others, Hua Mei drove a small Airshop out of the spaceship and arrived in front of Suzi Qi and the rest.

The native watched them board the Airshop enviously, then he picked up a spear from the grass, mounted his camel-horse, and ran towards the forest. Hua Mei, piloting the Airshop , followed behind.

Little did they know, their accidental journey had taken them to an unknown planet in the solar system of the ancient times. The butterfly effect they inadvertently caused was like throwing a stone into a calm lake, causing ripples that grew into a level-10 tsunami. It not only changed each of their lives but also led to significant changes in the civilization of the planet and the entire solar system.

This was an epic chapter of prehistoric history, in which the ancient human race on this planet enacted numerous poignant stories that would eventually be passed down as mythological legends by future generations.
